Crow Advice

Poem, discoverpoetry.com:

The Crow by Frank Bolles

Then it is a distance cawing,

Growing louder – coming nearer,

Tells of crows returning inland

From their winter on the marshes.

Iridescent is their plumage,

Loud their voices, bold their clamour,

In the pools and shallows wading:

Or in overflowing meadows

Searching for the waste of winter –

Scraps and berries freed by thawing.

Weird their notes, and hoarse their croaking;

Silent only when the night comes.

The crow has the power of prophecy and deep healing, say the wise ancients. It is the agent of change. It is the ultimate problem-solver, showing great skill, flair, and cunning. It will watch eagerly and learn quickly. It will gather with others, noisily, but their silence brings an eerie calm.

ADVICE: It may be a time for you to prepare for sudden change, or to raise your consciousness for higher intelligence – to tap into existing wit or gain further knowledge. Be careful of your thoughts – ensure that they are positive with good intentions. Your speech may profess the future, so be kind and never devious, for fate may turn against you. Times might be challenging, with loss in your life, but you are on target to heal. Set your intention now and move forward.

“The Carrion Crow and Turkey-Buzzard possess great power of recollection, so as to recognise at a great distance a person who has shot at them, and even the horse on which he rides.” – John James Audubon
